Split AC
Indoor filters, evaporator coil, drain line, blower and outdoor condenser all affect performance. Access to both units is important. Mention if the outdoor unit is on an external ledge so access can be discussed before the visit.
An AC that runs without cooling needs a diagnosis, not an automatic gas refill. We arrange chargeable inspection and repair enquiries for out-of-warranty window and split air conditioners, including inverter models. Tell us whether the indoor unit, outdoor unit or both are running when you call.

Indoor filters, evaporator coil, drain line, blower and outdoor condenser all affect performance. Access to both units is important. Mention if the outdoor unit is on an external ledge so access can be discussed before the visit.
Cooling, drainage, fan noise, thermostat operation and mounting can be assessed. Removal or refitting may need additional help depending on the window, bracket and access.
Variable-speed systems need model-specific checks of sensors, power supply, communication and control boards. An error code alone is not proof that a PCB or compressor needs replacement.
Filter cleaning, accessible coil and drain checks, and a cooling assessment help identify restricted airflow and maintenance needs. Service scope is agreed after checking the unit.
Controlled water cleaning may be suitable for an accessible coil and drainage assembly. Electrical components must be protected; water pressure and dismantling depend on the model and condition.
A suitable coil-cleaning product may be considered for stubborn contamination after inspection. It is not necessary for every AC and should not be used indiscriminately on coatings or electronics.
Low refrigerant can indicate a leak. A technician should identify the cause, discuss leak repair and use the specified refrigerant; a routine top-up without diagnosis may not solve the problem.
Inspection may cover capacitors, wiring, sensors, fan motors, control boards and compressor starting faults. Replacement is subject to diagnosis, compatibility and part availability.
Call with the AC type, capacity, floor and proposed indoor/outdoor positions. Pipework, brackets, electrical work, removal and access requirements affect the scope and quote.
Safe checks can help describe the issue. They are not a confirmed diagnosis.
A safe first stepCheck that cooling mode is selected and doors/windows are closed.
What may need inspectionAirflow, coils, sensors, refrigerant circuit and compressor operation may need assessment.
A safe first stepSwitch the unit off if water is approaching a socket or wiring.
What may need inspectionThe drain path, tray, installation slope and coil icing may be checked.
A safe first stepStop using it. Do not keep resetting the breaker.
What may need inspectionElectrical insulation, supply and components need qualified testing.
A safe first stepSwitch off if the noise is sudden, loud or accompanied by a smell.
What may need inspectionFan clearance, bearings, mounting and loose panels may be inspected.
A safe first stepClean only user-removable filters as described in the manual.
What may need inspectionBlower, coil and drain cleaning may be appropriate after inspection.
Clean user-removable filters according to the manual, keep airflow paths clear and leave space around the outdoor unit. Never spray water into electrical sections or attempt refrigerant work yourself.

Have another question?
Let’s talk about your appliance.
No. Refrigerant is in a sealed circuit. Poor cooling has several possible causes; a leak or refrigerant problem should be diagnosed before charging.
No. Jet service describes controlled water cleaning; chemical service uses an appropriate cleaning product where needed. Suitability depends on the unit and contamination.
We accept enquiries for both, including inverter models. Confirm your model, access and required work by phone before arranging a visit.
